Vanghat Riverine Woods (earlier known as Vanghat River Lodge), situated on the Ramganga at the edge of the forests of Corbet Tiger Reserve (Uttaranchal, India), an exclusive accommodation option for those seeking absolute solitude.
There are 5 spacious mud, stone and thatch huts, which merge in with the environment but it has all the luxuries or comforts that one may think of. The large mud cottages are thatched with savannah grass, over a lining of bamboo ceiling. Large airy windows and verandas on 3 sides of the cottages afford splendid views of the wooded hills and river valley.
All the cottages have been built to allow a throughput of breeze throughout the day. The lodge has been designed to provide a comfortable, welcoming and traditional environment to stay.
